A Texas native, Jason has spent 13 years in the service and hospitality industry with six years working with fine food and wine. A self-proclaimed ‘beverage enthusiast’, Jason’s beverage interests started during his bartending years, continuing during his restaurant years. Under a mentor tutelage, Jason worked at Mountain Springs Vineyard in Valley View Texas to absorb as much wine knowledge as he could. Prior to joining Molto Formaggio, Jason ran a successful catering business hosting tasting events and pairing gourmet food with suggested wines for clients.

As a WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) Level 2, Jason uses his experience to host one or two wine-themed classes each month that incorporates Molto Formaggio’s fine cheeses, wines, food products, and desserts into a composed three-course tasting.
