Chris Scott
Wine Expert & Presenter

Chris Scott is an award-winning wine communicator and presenter with a lively and energetic style and down-to-earth approach to wine. He runs the UK’s leading wine tasting company ThirtyFifty and produces a weekly wine podcast, The UK Wine Show. Born and bred in New Zealand, Chris spent time as a student working hands-on in the vineyards of Canterbury before graduating with first class honours in engineering. He moved to London in 2001 to begin his wine studies before setting up ThirtyFifty in 2002.

Chris now heads up a team of 20 wine experts across the UK, between them running over 500 corporate events, courses and private tastings per year. In 2015 and 2008 the company was awarded the International Wine Challenge Wine Educator of the Year. Chris has represented Hardys and Montana in the UK in marketing campaigns including live tasting events for the Hardys One Love campaign, a live web TV show and video podcasts for Montana and has consulted for Britvic Soft Drinks on food and drink matching.
